We are calling on Staffordshire County council to raise the level of the foot ways on the Glascote road under the 19 Arches Viaduct to allow pedestrians to continue to travel through this area during and after heavy rain.

For those families who live on the Kettlebrook side of the railway the nearest catchment school can only be accessed by car when the paths are blocked by deep water.

The County Council should also look into alternative solutions to reduce the inconvenience to vehicles in this area during heavy rain when water pools on the road surface prior to draining into the watercourses.
