Recently the school PS/IS 229 has held a theater show, Elf Jr. Many of the performers enjoyed acting, singing, dancing, and overall just working to achieve a great performance. However, many of us are in the eighth grade and are graduating this year, and we would love to put on one last performance! So, e decided to start a petition to prove tat so many people want to put on another production.

One idea that we talked about that seems to be agreeable is the idea of a big school talent show. Every year in the past, we have held a school talent show, and it was amazing every single year. It's March already and we have not started, or even heard anything about the talent show. Our idea is to have the whole school help work towards the talent show, (which may be held at the end of the year) with some students working on sound and lighting, and others making banners and artwork. Some student can sell tickets or greet people at the door for community service, and we can have the art enrichment class design a cover for the playbill. If we all sign this petition, that says we agree to working towards this achievement, we may have a chance of holding a great show that everyone will enjoy!
