This is so sad! This steals the history away from the school and community, and erases the accomplishments of those so honoured. Other schools have removed the decades of grad class group photos from the walls, where students used to be able to say, there’s my mom, or dad, or grandparent(s). In particular, seeing this photo of Scott Sheffield (scholarship) who was a dear past friend of our family, really drives home the loss. Please return these and handle with respect! 

I worked with Scott many years ago in Halifax . Within minutes of meeting him , you knew where his heart was - Advocate . These are important pieces of achievements that belong to the school / community

I grew up in this area and graduated from this school, in a small town with not much to do having the ability to compete and win was a huge part of so many lives and this little school has had more than its share of amazing athletes. To toss their accomplishments aside along with the memories of so many friends and family members was thoughtless to say the least.

This is such an insult to all those who worked so hard to earn these trophies and awards.

My father was born and raised in Advocate, and it is shocking that this is being allowed to happen! WHO is responsible for this ridiculous "decision"? The actual Principal of the school? Can the school board do anything?

I have lived part-time in Advocate since 2001 and did some supply teaching at the school when Iived there full-time. Celebrate school success and remember school heritage.
