No one with this history and actions of this woman should have anything named after her

it is never okay to support a racial supremacist group without facing any repercussions. these two halls on school grounds should be renamed. this woman was not a hero and does not deserve to continue serving a legacy on this school campus after her actions have proven that she is very far from a good example.

I am grateful for the education i received at Ursula from 2004-2008, but there are some life subjects - diversity, mental health, etc - I now realize were vastly under taught. I hope this is the first of many steps to change the course for my Alma mater. Annie (Butler) Heath

I’m signing because the world is changing, SUA needs to show it can follow along for the better and continue to prepare ALL students for a changing world. Black lives need to matter over money, and that shouldn’t have to be said in 2020. Marge Schotts name on the building you invite black students to learn in, is a disgrace to students of color and your commitment to caring about them.

I agree with the principle but the fact remains the the school accepted her money and named the buildings after her. That was very wrong and shows the school was willing to take any means necessary to get what they wanted against moral principle. I’m sure she gave that money in agreement to have her name on it and taking it off goes against what is most likely a contract that was signed.

I’m signing because the blatant support of white supremacy will no longer be tolerated in this country. Setting that example for children is disgraceful.

I’m signing because monuments should not be made to honor people that embrace these ideologies.
