Living off-campus is a valuable part of the post-secondary experience for many students. Allowing students to live off-campus helps them to develop important life skills that the school overlooks. 

With St. Olaf’s new housing opening next year, they are limiting the number of people allowed to live off-campus, while also keeping Kildahl over capacity, HillKitt in need of restorations, and increasing the cost of single rooms within pods and triple suites.

The residence life office has shown disregard for the St. Olaf student body’s wants and needs, and we demand that this policy be reviewed to allow students to live off-campus after just one year of schooling, should they feel inclined.
