We would like to express our serious concern over the recent unilateral decision by the school administration to increase 2nd Term tuition fees for students without consulting us as parents. We are extremely unhappy with the increase of Term 2 fees to USD 530.00 as stated in your letter of 16 July 2021. We are in agreement as Guardians/Parents that the USD 530.00 is unjustifiable for 1 month of online lessons.

Our other significant concern is the lack of consultation and the speed at which this has been approved.  This is not reflective of the atmosphere of mutual respect and meaningful consultation in which we usually operate and we wish to stress our discontent at the failure to engage with us on the matter of the increase.

According to your Newsletter 2 of Term 1 2021 written on 12 May 2021 which we have attached for your reference, the School stated that the fees was USD 87.50 per month. Furthermore, in the letter it was stated that if there is need to adjust the fees consultation and engagement with us parents will be done, which unfortunately was not done.
