It is high time that we as white people realize the disparity that exists in our community. I believe Black Lives Matter and I believe We Are Stronger Together.

Class of 2006- glad to see SJ residents, and especially students, taking an initiative to stand with BH. Keep digging. There is so much more work to be done in your community. Connect, organize, and cause "good trouble" until equity is realized. Young people, you are the future there- change the story for these sister communities...long overdue.

I feared SJ mural might come off as patronizing toward black Americans, but the Jacob Blake shooting and seeing the BH mural convinced me that SJ needs to take a stand.
This Stadium Drive resident welcomes the mural.

Way to go SJHS students in support of BLM! I’m so encouraged by our children seeing through the injustices and doing what’s right. If not now, when? Now is the time! SJHS ‘80
