As the name Beachside has been selected, the native item (of the mascot choices) that sounds best with this is Baracuda. It isn't a trend word or a moniker that can be made fun of. Instead, it is a classic, all inclusive item, Florida appropriate mascot that would be appropriate for both boys and girls sports. It is also a mascot that can easily be redesigned..so that can it evolve with fashion and the school over time.
