End St. John Extreme Dress Code

On July 15th, 2017, St. John Lutheran School issued a change to the dress code, further making it more restrictive. The specific changes included: requiring all students to wear leather boat shoes and white socks. This crossed the line for many students which explains why 3/4 leave every year. Many students express themselves through socks and shoes and making this change takes that away from them. Further, the change was issued 3 weeks before school starts so many families already purchased school shoes, this costs a lot of money and a lot of hassle. So my petition is demanding that St. John Lutheran School in Ocala, Florida, immediately change the dress code and allow students to wear whatever shoes they wish to wear.
