After already putting their students who pay tens of thousands of dollars a year through far more than they should endure through the duration of the past semester (moving dorms to make a “quarantine zone”, requiring an unholy amount of tests, giving students that live in dorms inaccurate spit tests, and much more), they capped things off with a promise that masks would not be necessary in the fall. That said, they have also required that students get vaccinated before coming back to school. If this is required, the science that they are claiming to listen does not match up with the guidelines they have given, as it is clearly much harder to have an outbreak when the entire school is vaccinated. Being a very expensive private school, we as a student body are paying far too much to sit around and stand for guidelines that do not make any sort of sense and we will not get walked all over by our administration.
