The UK has laws against Hate Speech. I trust the organisers of the event in Buckinghamshire are aware that this man may well flout them. If it is right to prevent extremist Muslim preachers from preaching before they get the chance to say the hateful things they wish to say (and I believe it is), it is equally right to prevent a reactionary Christian preacher from speaking in public on the grounds that he might very well use the public platform to indulge in Hate Speech. I trust that the police and other authorities will take the necessary action to uphold the UK's laws with regard to Hate Speech. I am proud to be British, and one of the hallmarks of Britishness is tolerance. However, let us not be so tolerant that we allow a bigot like this to disseminate a lack of tolerance.

Freedom of speech is not freedom to abuse. We should be living in brotherhood, not separation.

People like this should not be allowed to step foot in the UK to preach dangerous and ludicrous claims. What's with this unhealthy obsession by many religious types with the sex lives of others?

we must be seen to openly encourage someone who will speak publically against LGBT, and signed a bill supporting life time imprisonment for homosexuals. He is not welcome to share this opinion to cause mistrust and confusion in our country, regardless of freedom of speech act

The attitude towards gay people in Uganda is horrible and murderous. This man has something to do with that - have nothing to do with him.

Although I've heard that Rev Emiau has cancelled his trip to the UK, the principle stands: those who preach hate must not be invited to preach it from the pulpits of Christian churches.

I am signing because I believe that everybody has the right to personal expression and axiality is one of them. It is completely unbiblical to allow someone to spread such messages of hate. Jesus would be outraged.
If St James Church is a Church promoting the love of Jesus they should not allow this.

The hatred whipped up by the words and actions of Rev Emiau and others is unconscionable. This is not Christian love, which knows better.
