Bring Back Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity Sweets to The St Georges School Shop
This petition had 15 supporters
The Students at St.Georges School help many charities, and we chose Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital as a very worthy and meaningful charity to support.
Through our purchases of sweet bags at lunch time, we hoped to be able to raise enough money for the Hospital to be able to buy an X-ray machine or a dialysis machine to help other children.
Unfortunately, we are no longer allowed to sell the sweets, due to a school policy relating to sugar.
However, we are allowed to run charity tuck shops, where we sell sweets, cakes etc, and during SPWOF week and at concerts and events and we feel this is exactly the same thing.
Also, all students are able to buy sweets at any time outside of school, but if they bought them in the name of charity, that would be so much better.
We would like your peaceful vote to try to convince the Deputy Head Teacher to allow us to continue supporting this charity through sweet sales.
Any students from St. George's School, please sign this petition and support this charity.
