Hi I’m Ella and I made this petition here today because I am being forced to re-dye my hair to a “natural color”. I recently dyed it an unnatural red. color and I knew it was against the school dress code but multiple other people have colored hair.  I go to a private school and yes it’s in the dress code but there are a lot more people that also have dyed hair. If I get it dyed back to a natural hair color my hair will start falling out even more. I’ve had my hair dyed 8 times in the past 6 months or so. My hair has already been falling out since November but I decided that I needed a change from the way I looked as a coping mechanism. So I dyed it, but apparently my school doesn’t like it if you can express yourself. I’ve already gotten horrible comments from people about my hair. My school is a toxic place. If you are able to sign this petition I might be able to convince my principal to let me keep my red hair. I have until Tuesday, April 6th of 2021. My principal didn’t give me any consequences of if I didn’t change my hair back to a natural color by Tuesday so I might just try to last as long as I can before I am able to get enough signatures. Please help me it would mean the world because I was really hoping to not have to shave my hair off until I was older. Thanks stay safe
