The new st Chris I.T policy is restricting the students at the school. The school prides itself on having created a atmosphere that encourages independence and taking self-responsibility but the new policy restricts that. As of now, the WiFi blocks almost everything including the school website, show my homework and video calling on WhatsApp (which many of the boarders use to communicate with their parents). 

The rule that stops people being able to use their own mobile data in school means that especially for boarders, money is going to waste. For many people, the boarding house is their home but, they can't use data within it.
