St. Anthony for Mask choice

St. Anthony for Mask choice
Many concerned parents of students attending St. Anthony school believe it is best for the 2021-2022 school year for masks to be optional. We strongly believe in medical autonomy. Parents should maintain their rights to care for the medical needs of our children the way we see fit. We want all the children at St. Anthony to be emotionally and physically healthy and as parents it is our job to let our concerns be heard in a loving and respectful way.
We understand the school had a nearly impossible task to figure out how to reopen as safely as possible last year. The staff, students and parents all did an amazing job and we know St. Anthony made the right call and went over and beyond for students to be in person in their classrooms. Their support, dedication, patience and overall willingness to keep our kids safe and learning is something that cannot be overlooked and deserves tremendous appreciation.
It’s unethical and unconstitutional to force healthy children to abide by measures that can result in physical and emotional harm and that impinge on their ability to be healthy, well-adjusted individuals.
