We lost the recent votation of the CO2 law, why?

Each year in Switzerland, nearly 4 billion francs are spent on advertising unsustainable products and services, aggravating pollution and climate change.

Continuing to lead people down this unsustainable consumption path will have dramatic consequences within our lifetime.

Why don't we advertise as well eco-responsible content, raising global-awareness of Circular Economy, climate, ecological footprint or individual and collective solutions ? Public awareness precedes collective action... and informed choices by voters.

Three proposals are presented in the video to achieve precisely this. Here, we advocate the "low-hanging fruit" proposal: Swiss public TV and radio to broadcast a ‘1 minute for climate’ piece after each weather forecast, sponsored by the World Meteorological Organization. Audiences are more than 500'000 people per day!

We have seen with the COVID crisis that when government, businesses and media align on the same message and broadcast it everywhere, citizens are motivated to take action.
