On November 5, 2020, amid hundreds of avoidable injuries, eight lives were needlessly taken in a crowd crush at the Astroworld Festival in Houston, Texas. These victims are as follows:

  • Madison Dubiski, 23
  • Alex Acosta, 21
  • Danish Baig, 27
  • Franco Patiño, 21
  • Jake Jurinek, 20
  • Brianna Rodriguez, 16
  • John Hilgert, 14
  • Rudy Peña, 23

The primary organizer and headlining performer of the event, Jacques Bermon Webster II, known professionally as Travis Scott, has been clearly documented actively encouraging reckless behavior from his fans. Several examples are as follows.

  • At Lollapalooza in 2015, Webster was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after inciting concertgoers to ignore security and rush the stage.
  • In 2017, Webster was arrested for similar conduct after a performance in Northwest Arkansas.
  • In 2019, three people were trampled and injured as a crowd rushed to enter the Astroworld festival grounds.

The lethal incident seen this November is a direct consequence of Jacques Webster's blatant efforts to incite chaos and mayhem. Mr. Webster's continuous and disturbing degree of negligence for the general wellbeing of his spectators is wholly and absolutely inexcusable.

This petition calls on the following music streaming platforms to indefinitely bar all media authored by Jacques Bermon Webster II from their service:

  • Pandora
  • Apple Music
  • Spotify
  • TIDAL
  • Amazon Music

In continuing to host his content, the directors of these platforms are directly enabling Mr. Webster to pave the way to another avoidable tragedy.
