One of the greatest Role-Playing Game's of all time.

One of the greatest Final Fantasy stories ever told.

Released for the PlayStation in 1997, Final Fantasy VII is celebrating it's 20th anniversary. Since it's release the game has been ported to a variety of digital platforms, capturing more and more fans over time.

Now, after many years of rumors and demand, a high definition remake is in development for the PlayStation 4, and fans eagerly await the day it is released.

But what of the original game?

Even now with a remake in development the original version is still selling regularly. It cannot be stopped. Fans old and new, are willing to purchase these digital ports to play this amazing game. Even purchasing the game multiple times across different platforms.

How about an Anniversary physical release for the PlayStation 4 to tie in with the remake?

Add new 20th Anniversary artwork and packaging, and release a physical version on disc of the digital port that is already on the PlayStation Store.

It already has Trophy support and a trailer for the remake, and graphical upgrades and other improvements are not needed as all that will come with the remake.

Original Final Fantasy VII is less than 5GB, that will hardly fill a PlayStation 4 disc. If possible, why not add a short demo of the remake? Complete the demo to unlock a bonus for the full game upon release.

Square Enix has done that in the past.

Or if a working demo is not available at the time, then downloadable content could be included in the case. There are options.

This Anniversary Edition would be for fans old and new, across the world.

Something that is not just another digital download purchased online but an actual celebration of a beloved classic.

It cannot be stopped, the momentous achievement that is Final Fantasy VII.
