Petitioning Sprint and Verirzon Wireless and 1 other

Stop the Surcharge on purchasing new phones with 4G technology.

Both companies no longer sell phones with 3G technology, and yet charge their customers $40.00 (Sprint) or $30.00 (Verizon Wireless) for purchasing new phones which have 4G technology simply because they are 4G. It's not like they have a choice in what service they can purchase 3G or 4G they only supply 4G phones! But they have the audacity to charge you for buying a phone with the new network they insist the buyer use. If the consumer has no choice in the matter why should we be forced to pay for something we have no choice in. As a consumer I am now forced to use a broken phone or pay for service which I can't use because my phone is no longer in service because I shouldn't be forced to pay a surcharge. NO one should have to pay for some thing they have no say in, Say NO TO THE SURCHARGE, REMIND THEM T-MOBILE HAS NO SURCHARGE AND NEITHER SHOULD THEY.
