Kolby Bowman started this petition to Springdale Schools

In 2006, the Rogers school district faced a difficult choice. The student population had grown enormously over the past decade and school officials didn’t relish the prospect of a massive high school of more than 4,000 students. They wanted to open a new school, but they didn’t want schools to be segregated by ethnicity, which would surely happen if the schools were zoned by neighborhood. Springdale had been in the same position and had ended up with one school that had almost twice the percentage of Latino students as the other.

How can the Springdale School District allow teachers to serve in a school to just say they don’t want to teach and serve these type of students (FYI: Their Job)

Springdale School District is supposed to be bringing our community together but it tearing us apart. Springdale High ethnicities rates almost double Har-Ber High. Students from Springdale High show more Growth and exhilaration in standardized test and also when out of High School show no disrespect for a ethnicity, this is because Springdale High is raised as a community and to learn other cultures and ways of life so we are ready for the real world.
