Support For Terrorism Has No Place In Spring Lake Park School District

A public high school in Minnesota will soon play host to an event put on by supporters of terrorism, sponsored by an organization that the Obama Administration Justice Department severed any relations with due to its history and support for US designated terrorist group Hamas (CAIR was also named by the United States Government as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation trial, the largest terrorism financing trial in American history).
One of its featured speakers, CAIR Board member Lamis Deek, has publicly stated his belief that terrorists who murder Jews are "martyrs." A martyr is defined as one who dies for a cause, therefore it can reasonably be concluded that murdering Jews is a "cause" this man deems worthy of support.
The Spring Lake Park school district, which has allowed this event to take place in its high school, states that, while its facilities are available for rent to political organizations, permission to hold such events "will not be granted for any activity / meeting which in the judgment of the School District may be in any way prejudicial to the best interest of the schools or the educational system."
An event organized by and featuring supporters of violence, terrorism and racism, clearly falls within the category of events not in the best interests of the schools or the educational system.
The Spring Lake Park School District should return to the organizers of "Palestine Day 2017" all fees, and publicly reiterate that hate and violence are not welcome in its facilities.
