When you pay a 10 dollar membership for a streaming service 7 dollars is meant to go to the music and 3 for the service. This seems fair.

Did you know you need to listen to almost 1500 songs a month to make your 10 dollars add up to pay out that 7 dollars? So where is your money going?

Did you sign up for a service that is not just ripping the artist off but also the consumer?  

The solution: 

Tell Spotify and other streaming services that you want your money going to the music you stream. If you only stream one artist a month than that artist should get your 7 dollars as the service takes the 3 for their service. Afterall, this is exactly what we are paying for by consuming and supporting our favourite music just like purchasing albums.
