Sierra Deaton, formerly in Alex & Sierra, debuted her solo career under stage-name “Essy” in 2018 where she released 2 songs titled, “Don’t Hurt” & “Know You.” Fans fell in love with these songs & were streaming daily until they disappeared out of the blue one day from streaming platforms. After a situation of realizing that Deaton’s stage-name was copyrighted by another artist, who released music after her, her music had stayed off of Spotify, Apple Music, etc & fans have no new music from Sierra. Recently, “Don’t Hurt” was added back onto Spotify which left fans shocked, but also excited to have a solo song from Sierra on a streaming platform. Now, fans are in hopes of “Know You” being added back to Spotify, Apple Music, etc so they can begin streaming Sierra’s solo music again.
