Ivan Hoe started this petition to SPM students 2020 and 2021

Students have been suffering from the lack of preparation and the inability to cope with the pandemic and continue to go on with their studies. This petition is to allow SPM students both 2020 and 2021 to get their priority. The need to focus on the new syllabus is far more important since it will be a first for the students and the teachers as their experience.

The reasoning behind this as well can be supported by the fact that most of the students from Form 4 2020 did not completed their previous syllabus. The reasoning of internet as a tool to study is a very poor excuse. This can be conducted by the inability of students to achieve a stable internet or cellular connection from rural areas. Also behalf of the students i can confidently say that this is definitely not for everyone which also can contribute towards the poor achievement for 2020 SPM students.

The advantages of the admission test can contribute towards everyone's burden off their shoulders. Also the backup plan of conducting the exam online by any chance is definitely amusing indeed as this does not validate the exam itself. Admission test allows the students to choose whether to proceed with their education or not. Admission tests also allow students to focus on subjects of thair liking without going through unnecessary filtering of other subjects. The main objective here is to save everyone's time and proceed as this pandemic will be a hard hurdle for every country. Education is a must but we need to alter it according to the situation. Please consider everyone's time here thank you.
