There is a speeding car issue on Meteor Blvd between Barton St & Valera Drive.  We have lots of young children on and around this road.  My granddaughter was crossing just yesterday with the help of her grandfather, he looked both ways and by the time he turned to tell her to cross, here comes a car from Barton St. speeding up the street.  She just stopped in time.  This is an ongoing concern.  We need speed humps placed in two separate spots, one between Barton & Velvet Court and another between Velvet Court and Valera Drive.  If we can't get 2, at least one will slow them down.  We are not asking too much, just safety for our children. This was brought up to our Ward 10 Councillor Maria Pearson a couple of years ago.  She said she would look into it and we never heard back from her again.  Please sign our petition and help look out for our children.
