Berry Lane is a beautiful park, but when trying to get there from west of Garfield Avenue on foot it is pretty difficult.

The intersections on Garfield Avenue at Union St and Bramhall Ave have push-button activated traffic signals, but due to the driving behavior of motorists in the area---and Jersey City in general---the flashing lights can go ignored for quite some time until an altruistic driver comes along from both directions.

What I am proposing is the addition of speed bumps leading up to one or both intersections in both lanes.

This way motorists will be compelled to slow down at the push-button activated traffic signals, facilitating the crossing of pedestrians on foot, pushing strollers, getting off the light rail train, and more.
