Speed bumps in Rio Bravo

Speed bumps in Rio Bravo
Why this petition matters
One weekend in April, a child was hit by a car while riding his bike in a military neighborhood in base housing. Often cars are seen speeding excessively through the Rio Bravo neighborhood while children are out playing and families are walking. There are no precautions that slow these speeders down in residential housing, which has continued to cause a problem for families enjoying the outdoors. Balfour Beatty Communities receives multiple National Resident Satisfaction Awards for Excellence yet ignore residential safety. Simple measures such as speed bumps can be implemented to slow traffic, and signs in front of ADA housing to alert about special needs people can make a difference in the safety of the people who live here.
Please be a voice of change in this community and we can set the example for other military housing communities that we will not tolerate our community being treated like a racetrack.
