The homeowners association for the Association of Poinciana Villages are out of control!

Their actions have become vicious, malicious, vindictive and inhumane. As many of you may now be aware, the board members of this HOA has made the conscious decision to implement an unnecessary cable and internet charge on us all. This has caused our annual HOA fee of $285 to sky rocket to $980. This decision was made without taking each households financial standing into consideration. An additional $700 a year is a lot of money for some people especially for those who are retired, unemployed, disabled, and those who are on a fixed income, etc. They did not even place a grandfather clause into this change. This proves their malicious intent. 
Residence who cannot afford to pay are being forwarded to an attorney’s office who is threatening to place liens on their homes. This is unlawful and bullying behavior. 

I understand a petition was created last year but it did not get far, well, as God is my witness, this one will make it far!
Enough is enough; it is time we come together to let our voices be heard. We cannot take bullying laying down. There’s over 25,000 households of us and five board members of them. A lot of change can be done if we band together! 

This petition is created to:

1. have this cable and Internet bundle removed from our HOA dues. They do not have the right to force bills on us 
2. for the removal of Mark Maldonado
3. to begin having board meetings on days/ times residents are present and not at work
4. and to remind the HOA their responsibility is to make sure the exterior of our homes are held up to par, not implement bills inside our homes. 

It’s only the beginning; we have to start from somewhere.
