I'm signing because you have an obligation to meet with me, your constituent, in an open forum.

Congressman Posey, I am asking that you please plan a town hall meeting face to face with your constituents. In the many years I have lived in Brevard County, you have never met face to face with your constituents in a town hall setting. I know myself, and many others, would like to meet with you and discuss how the 8th district is being represented in Washington D.C. Thank you.

I want to make very clear my opposition to the repeal of the ACA and to talk about the President's mental health.

I live in Indian River County, which is also in Rep. Bill Posey's congressional district. I would like him to be more accessible to his constituents. I've requested a meeting with him regarding the proposed repeal of the ACA, which would harm me. However, no meeting has been scheduled even though he has a 2-week recess this month, April 2017, which is for the express purpose of meeting with constituents.

Constituents have a right to meet from time to time with their elected officials. The elected officials have the responsibility to have a visible presence within the community. Not only to personally hear their constituents concerns, but to also witness the conditions and issues of the community first hand.
