Starting when we come back from Thanksgiving Break, the school faculty is making us put our phones up in a caddy during class. This is completely not fair to us students. If we use our phones as a distraction, it’s our choice and our responsibility. Some students may have an emergency and they wouldn’t even know about it if the faculty took away our phones. For instance, if there’s a personal emergency, most people don’t want to call the school, so instead they text the student. The student wouldn’t even know. Our phones are considered our personal property.  This is completely unfair to those who deserve the right of a phone.
