Students taking HS 131 will not get CPR certified. This is the first semester that Southeastern Louisiana University will not be certifying students which is a problem for us all who are taking the course to help benefit our career. This was not vocalized or explained to the students correctly. This course is a requirement to advance within our major. Throughout this semester we have learned how to correctly perform and assist in first aid and CPR while also understanding the duties and responsibilities.
