Parents of South Side School District started this petition to South Side School Board
According to administration, parents and volunteers are not allowed into South Side School for traditional school events based on the current wording of the the school COVID Safety Plan approved in July 2021.
Surrounding school districts have successfully incorporated parent volunteers into their school activities safely abiding by all government mandates.
We are requesting the South Side School District School Board to reword the Covid Safety Plan to allow non-essential volunteers to return to school activities during school hours. We want our children to return to normal school activity levels like the surrounding communities have already done.
