Annie Murton started this petition to South Norfolk District Council

Petition to South Norfolk District Council against the revised plans to expand Deal Farm Anaerobic Digestion Plant in Bressingham, Norfolk. This project is over 2.5x bigger that the original proposed idea and has ZERO benefit to our local community. It will also mean around 5,654 HGV movements will be going through our small village every year (that's around 15 everyday) and will effect ALL surrounding areas.  Not only will this have an adverse effect of traffic, noise, light and sound pollution we can also expect the increased use of pesticides (effecting wildlife), unspecified odours and thousand of gallons of digestate (the bi-product) sitting in olympic-sized lagoon waiting to be carted away. We, the citizens of Bressingham and surrounding villages want to stop this from happening. If you think you may be effected by this, care about keeping our beautiful villages safe and sound from this development or want to help protect wildlife, then your opinions count! Please sign this petition to keep our villages protected! You can also lodge your comments with the South Norfolk Planning department see NO DEAL to Deal Farm Revised plans for more information. Together we can stop this, the more people who speak up the more chance we have of keeping our village safe.
