I visited Madeira recently where they have lots of these and are extremely popular. Plus it’s part of grange’s heritage.

I have visited the community and it's a beautiful place that would benefit from the restoration of that lovely period piece

I have been to many outdoor pools and think that Grange Lido would be a great attraction. I am from Banbury and know how successful the town has been saving its own outdoor pool.

Good memories from school days in the 60's when the sun always seemed to shine at the lido.

This has the potential to be a major tourist attraction, bringing people in who will then spend money with other local businesses, creating employment. Use what you've got! Don't destroy it!

I live in Ulverston, I love lido’s and I would use this facility regularly. I work in heritage and have seen the damage done by insensitive restoration and cost-cutting excercises. It’s the right time to look after this rare treasure NOW, not in the future when more damage has been done. It’s hard to get back what is lost.
