As everyone has heard. The Covid-19 virus is rapidly multiplying and spreading globally causing havoc and chaos everywhere. 

Multiple countries in Europe are on complete lockdown and even the French government have announced a curfew on the streets for 15 days.

France currently has 5,423 cases and 127 deaths. This will very very quickly become the UK if we dont take immediate action.

Washing your hands more often and signing happy birthday while you do so isnt going to stop the virus from spreading. It will slow the spread of it down but taking a bigger action such as closing schools will have a bigger impact on delaying the spread of the virus.

Universities such as Lincoln and Nottingham have closed today because they have realised the true danger and threat the Covid-19 virus has on the public and young people.

Scientists have found that young adults and children are the carries of the virus. Every night after school children and young adults are going home to their families with older parents and carers that could become infected. This will become a major and dangerous issue.

At this point in time it is not worth taking the risk of sending children to school where the virus could be thriving and could become a major problem very quickly.
