should lower or remove their ridiculously high busking fees to make it affordable for everyone.
Currently they are one of the highest charging Victorian municipalities when it comes to busking permit fees at a cost of $121
I would like to see it capped at $20 or less to encourage street performers and make it affordable for all.

"Buskers (a.k.a. “street performers”) are a viable tool for rejuvenating public spaces. If done well, busking is a high-impact, low-cost option.
Buskers prompt social interaction on the street level, create intimacy and allow people feel comfortable and safe.
They also provide one of the few forms of live entertainment that low-income citizens can access and enjoy.

Well done to Baw Baw Shire who clearly value busking as priceless.
