We the residents of Panchsheel enclave & Soami Nagar (North) face a typical issue of Monkey menace ,They are all around in our neighborhood ensuring an unsafe environment for all of us. We feel scared to take our walks in the neighborhood parks ,they have often bitten & injured children & adults also making it totally unsafe & unpredictable for all of us to step out of our house. It has also been noted that they have entered our houses & rampaged the gardens, opened up refrigerators & spoiled our furniture
The monkeys are being fed by some local residents which is making them more confident than ever. 

This petition is specifically intended not to harm the animals but to take them to safer shelters so that such incidents of animals biting & injuring etc is completely removed. This is mutually beneficial to both the residents & the animals as they should also not get hurt due to some human action

Inspite of bringing this to the attention of the RWA & other civic authorities little action has been taken on the same.We have constantly raised this issue with the RWA as the strays especially monkeys have caused problems especially to the little children & the elderly but this has not been taken up by the colony RWA's as an area of concern & no action has ever been taken on the same.

The idea is for all of us to be in our natural habitats ,Thanks to all for carrying this forward and providing a meaning to this mission
