South Coast Deli has been serving the community of Isla Vista for many years. It is the perfect spot to go to when you are craving a sandwich or salad with their many unique options as well as their vegetarian and vegan choices. Located a little past the Pardall Tunnel, it's easily accessible to students when biking to and from class as well as those who live on campus. It was the perfect place to go to when you wanted a yummy but healthy meal. 

However, when Covid-19 hit, many businesses closed down, the IV location of South Coast Deli being one of them. Without South Coast Deli, there is no other place in Isla Vista that serves quality salads. While Sam's To Go also sells good sandwiches, the menu definitely does not have as much variety as South Coast Deli.

Furthermore, South Coast Deli always get a lot of business from students living in IV. With so many people lining up to get sandwiches and salads, South Coast Deli is really good for the economy. The Isla Vista location also had a 420 deal every Thursday where a set menu of sandwiches and salads would only be $4.20. That was an amazing deal especially for broke college students who wanted something to eat. Only paying $4.20 for not only a yummy, but a healthy meal is really beneficial for busy students. 

In conclusion, bring back South Coast Deli in Isla Vista!
