K.H. Mann started this petition to Governor Henry McMaster and

Since Sec. Kirstjen Nielson of the U. S. Department of Homeland Security recommends that states use voting machines which include "redundancy" and are "verifiable", we would ask that you allocate funds in the next budget to upgrade our voting machines to the DRE (Direct Register Electronic) type *WITH* a paper receipt/trail, or, failing that, returning to a paper ballot system (which should cost little or nothing.)

Given growing concerns about the vulnerability of systems much like ours, such as the one used in the state of Georgia,  as well as the concerns about foreign meddling in U.S. elections, we should respectfully request that this change be made before the next national election in 2020.
