Petition for a Playground in Beaconsfield New Town

Playgrounds are great places for children to get exercise, use their imagination and to gain greater self-confidence and self-worth. They are one of the few places that families can go where there are no barriers to communication – no tablets, TVs, nothing other than the sounds and sights of nature. Not only do they allow children and adults to bond and form friendships, but playing outside is good exercise and benefits every aspect of a child’s growth and development.
Currently there is no free and easily accessible playground in Beaconsfield New Town. NCT Beaconsfield, with the support of Councillor Alex Dunlop, Chairman of the Open Spaces, would like to see that change. Councillor Dunlop is keen to submit a case to Bucks County Council outlining the need for a playground in the New Town however he needs to show that he has the support of the local community. Please share with friends and family as the more signatures we can get, the more likely we are to make this a reality!
