For too long has Delphi been the language used in the NSC IT syllabus. It is outdated and useless. We should be able to learn a useful, relevant, and modern language at school to better prepare us for real-world IT. Changing Delphi to Java, or any other relevant language, would benefit the youth of South Africa greatly.
