Yet another traditional healer has been killed and burnt in the name of Witchcraft . A video has been trending on social media the past few days (1st week of April 2021) where two young men verbally abused, insulted, assaulted, kicked, spit at,  tortured and threatened to burn to death an elderly woman alleging that she is a witch. Yesterday morning (06 April 2021), it was reported that the woman traditional healer in the video was indeed burnt to death. She is now deceased. This is femicide, murder and gender based violence. GBVF must stop , killing of  healers in the name of witchcraft must stop. We the undersigned demand that:

(1) The immediate arrest of the killers who burnt to death the  deceased woman traditional healer in the video who was alleged to be caught up in an act of witchcraft

(2) The South African Police Services to investigate whether an act of witchcraft was indeed committed by the alleged deceased.
