Vaccines & other medications should first be distributed to the countries were the patients were used for the trials. The USA, UK and  Europe, in conjunction with the Pharmaceutical industry use Africa & India for drug trials often because they are afraid of litigation in their countries. This is an ethical matter versus financial and political domination. Ethics should always take priority in medicine.

Why is South Africa on the waiting list for Covid vaccines when our patients were used for so many of the trials?? There should also be a discounted rate for countries where trials were conducted as that would be fair and ethical. 

As a South African doctor I am requesting that you sign a petition to demand fair and equitable distribution as well as a price negotiation of the COVID vaccines and other drugs. The selfishness and financial domination of first world countries has to be stopped especially if our country is being used for the vaccines and other drug trials. Please sign
