This is according to the latest Quarterly Labour Force Survey released by Stats SA. South Africa's unemployment rate increased by 7,5 percentage points to 30,8 percent. The expanded unofficial employment rate is 43.1 percent. The South African government keeps on saying there is shortage of qualified artisans in South Africa, but we all know we are sitting at home with our skills, experience and qualifications.
