Brad Mathie started this petition to South African COVID 19 Help Line 0800 029 999 (South African Government)

As we all know that South Africa and the entire world is going through Coronavirus Pandemic and the entire Globe is taking the required steps to prevent it from spreading. In South Africa, many educational institutes, entertainment centers, and other crowded places have been closed down during the COVID-19 lockdown and people are advised to stay home to help others and the nation to fight this deadly virus.

We respect the decision taken by the South African government to prevent the spread of the deadly Coronavirus, however all the Retailers selling Cigarettes and Tobacco products have been prohibited to do so during the lockdown.

People suffering from addiction to Cigarettes & Tobacco products are being forced to find alternative, illegal vendors in order to satisfy their addiction. These illegal vendors do not adhere to the strict sanitization rules that normal retailers would and therefore more people are being put at risk of being infected by the COVID 19 virus, this is excluding the fact that they greatly markup the price of Cigarettes & Tobacco products.

If you agree with the following:

Super Markets should be allowed to sell Cigarettes & Tobacco Products during the South African COVID 19 lockdown.

With-drawl symptoms from Cigarettes & Tobacco is dangerous to your health if not treated correctly and may also increase the risk of depression and anxiety, just to name a few.

It will help many of the people to stay calm/focused within their homes.

It will help prevent further avenues of people contracting the COVID 19 virus by avoiding the creation of illegal, non-compliant Cigarettes & Tobacco Vendors who do not comply with the strict sanitization rules that have been enforced and should be adhered to.

Then, please sign this petition and share it as much as possible.

Thank You!
