With recent Covid-19 spikes and high stress, students are being put under immense pressure from themselves and their teachers. We are concerned for our health coming to school with numbers rising and high infection rates. Numerous students and teachers have been out over the last several weeks which has not given us time to prepare for exams. As remote is not an option this year due to Governor Lamont infection rates will continue to rise. As midterms are mandatory, students with Covid are not allowed to be present in school and take their exams. This adds unnecessary stress to already ill students.

Sound school students are reaching out to the staff and administration to reduce the midterm exam requirements. Those that are well are not asking to remove the requirement but instead allow us an alternative.
