This was unjust and unfair all was jn order and many people came to see how wonderful this culture and music is and was turned away and the people that worked so hard to put this together and the artists that came to put on this amazing show sent home. So wrong.

Soca is a universal sound: it is heritage, it is love, it is the sound of the Caribbean reaching out to the rest of the world and it releases happiness. Time, effort, reputation and history goes into organizing carnival events and the city's response was disgraceful.

I personally feel it was a sugar coated racist act orchestrated by individuals who refuse to be culturally inclusive. The city needs be held accountable, including a public statement of apology to all impacted and a declaration of how they plan to mitigate such incidents from happening again.

Bullshit. They wanted your money but not your culture.
