Recently we witnessed Sophia Rosing verbally and physically assault a black student. She repeatedly hurled racial slurs at that student also kicking her in the stomach, biting and punching her several time. And though Miss Rosing has been banned from the campus at the University of Kentucky she was not initially charged with the assault on the video but the assault of the officer she also got violent with. 

Ms.Rosing's behavior and assault should not go unpunished...what she did was a hate crime a felony not the misdemeanor charges she's currently charged with. 

This petition is asking the prosecutor to take a harder stance in this case and to review it as such. A criminal act of a person who has exhibited this type of behavior that has only escalated over time. Don't reward her bad behavior and violent nature to go unchecked.
