Although it is amazing that Spider-Man is going to be a playable character in Marvels Avengers, this is quickly disrupted by the character being exclusive to playstation. Consumers on other platforms are buying the same game at the same price, except with less content. This problem could be solved by sony making a deal or changing the prior deal to include Spider-Man on other platforms.While Sony owns the film rights to Spider-Man it is a different ball game in the gaming industry. To keep playstation exclusivity, it is easy as including a Spider-Man Ps4  or Miles Morales suit option. Exclusive deals are made all the time, but this one is very Anti-consumer and could have been handled  better. I believe this will improve this game across all platforms and can truly help this game be spectacular. Keep on being Amazing true believers!

*  I would also like to add that each character impacts the game heavily. Every character has their own way of interacting with the environment and enemies. In multiple trailers for this game Crystal Dynamics said (paraphrasing here)"Team composition is very important to success in the game." If this is true, one character missing from other platforms dramatically impacts the gameplay. A whole strategy/meta will be exclusive to playstation. This is not just blocking off a cosmetic, it is blocking a whole way of playing. This is the equivalent to making the warlock from Destiny a playstation exclusive. It really would not work. This decision also rules out the addition of cross play. Unless playstation could play with other players on different platforms and rub the exclusivity in others faces. Not intentionally, but it is the result. In summary this does not only affect gameplay, but it is also complicating our chances at crossplay. Which has not been confirmed yet.
