I know that it has been long since The Amazing Spider-Man 2 hit the theatres... But evr since then there has been a word about The Director's Cut being around somewhere and that's what this is all about.
To be honest, the film receives a lot of hate and the fact that it had a lot of studio interference going just made it worse and then the whole series being scrapped up for no reason. The story was being set up and a lot was yet to come. And the story has to be told.
Director Marc Webb had a vision about these films and it's not just him, it's also the cast that was effected hugely with the decision and we strongly believe that a director's cut is what we need to understand what the director really wanted to show us. And hence this #ReleaseTheWebbCut movement. The franchise deserves some love. Andrew Garfield deserves some love and respect. And hopefully if things go on well, we can make that happen. The franchise needs a proper conclusion and we believe that the third movie can give us that!
